At Flushing UMC we offer an array of adult ministries. We have life groups that meet at various times throughout the week. Including a woman's Bible Study on Thursdays, a Young Family life group, a Happiness group that meets Fridays, and two Sunday Bible Study groups.
We have visitation teams who will visit those who are homebound or in the hospital. We hold monthly communion services at Woodhaven (1st Monday of the month at 10:00am) and Hyde Park (2nd Monday of the month at 1:00pm).
We have a group who goes each Tuesday to North End Soup Kitchen to volunteer. There they help to prepare and serve food to those in need. We also support a local prison ministry to offer services and support.
Our telecare team checks in monthly with those who are connected to the church to ensure they are cared for and to check on prayer needs.
We also have wonderful music ministries whether you would prefer to join a choir, handbells, or praise band, we have many opportunities to join in music ministries.
