Rose has a background of bookkeeping and computers and as an office manager for 15 years. She has been a member of Flushing United Methodist church since 2009 and currently serves as a Stephen Ministry Leader, choir member and UMW member. She was born in Rochester, New York and moved to Flushing in 2000 to be married to her husband, Bill. Together, they have owned a property preservation company in the mortgage industry for 15 years.
